Dee Wright Observatory

On the Cascade Range at 5,187 feet, this mountain observatory offers panoramic views of the Mount Washington and Three Sisters Wilderness areas. Its remote lava fields offer a Bortle 2 dark sky rating. This makes it one of the best spots to view the Milky Way. It was a windy night temperatures in the 50’s.
